Dr. Divya Babu, an experienced Senior Consultant in Reproductive Medicine, brings a wealth of expertise to Sandhya Hospital. She holds an M.B.B.S. from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, and an M.S. from AIIMS, New Delhi. She also holds the MRCOG qualification from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (UK). Dr.Divya Babu focuses on reproductive health, minimally invasive surgeries, and overall women’s wellness. Her dedication to evidence-based care and compassionate approach makes her an invaluable member of our team, offering comprehensive solutions to help women achieve their reproductive goals.

IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination)

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) is a minimally invasive fertility treatment where prepared sperm is placed into the uterus during ovulation, improving fertilization chances for mild, unexplained, or ovulation-related infertility.

IVF- (Invitro
fertilization)

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) retrieves eggs and fertilizes them in a laboratory, transferring the healthiest embryo to achieve pregnancy, ideal for tubal issues, endometriosis, or long-standing infertility.

Intracyto Plasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)

ICSI, an advanced IVF technique for severe male infertility, involves injecting a single healthy sperm directly into an egg, greatly improving fertilization rates, even with very low sperm count or poor motility.

DE (Donor Egg)

For women who cannot produce viable eggs, the Embryo Donor Program provides hope: donor eggs are fertilized with the husband’s sperm, and the resulting embryo is transferred, enabling pregnancy and childbirth.

DS (Donor Sperm)

Donor sperm from carefully screened and tested men is quarantined, then used in IUI or IVF/ICSI procedures, providing a safe and effective way for individuals and couples to achieve successful conception.

Embroyo Freezing

Vitrification rapidly freezes embryos without ice crystal damage, preserving their quality for future IVF, enabling safe long-term storage and allowing successful frozen embryo transfer when needed.

Embryo Donation

Embryo donation, or “embryo adoption,” transfers unused IVF embryos from one couple to another, helping achieve pregnancy when the recipient’s eggs or sperm are not viable.

Surrogacy

Surrogacy enables a healthy woman to carry a baby for couples when the intended mother’s uterus is absent, medically unfit, or pregnancy would pose significant health risks safely for child’s well-being and happiness.

Laparoscopy

Laparoscopy evaluates pelvic health and fallopian tube patency by directly visualizing the pelvis, using dye to confirm open tubes and check for adhesions, aiding accurate fertility assessment and treatment planning.

Hysteroscopy

A hysteroscope is a rigid or flexible fiber-optic instrument with multiple channels that provide light, visualization, fluid management, and access for performing diagnostic and operative procedures safely inside the uterus.

Reproductive Endoscopic

The Center’s expert surgeons perform advanced reproductive surgeries, including ovarian cyst removal, endometriosis treatment, adhesion division, ectopic pregnancy management, and sterilization reversal, ensuring safe, effective care to optimize fertility outcomes.
